(1) Rolling bearings. For ball and cylindrical roller bearings that use mechanical oil, lubricants with viscosity grades L-AN22, L-AN32, and L-AN46 can generally be used at medium and low speeds and at room temperature; bearings with high speed and large inner diameter can be used at a lower degree For bearings with low speed and small inner diameter, you can choose higher viscosity lubricants. Tapered roller bearings and thrust roller bearings require both radial and axial loads. Therefore, under the same temperature conditions, higher-viscosity lubricating oil should be used compared with ball cylindrical roller bearings; at normal speed and normal temperature Below, the minimum viscosity limit for tapered roller bearing oil is L-AN32 viscosity mechanical oil, and the minimum limit for thrust roller bearing oil viscosity is L-AN46 viscosity mechanical oil.
(2) Sliding bearing. The choice of oil viscosity is related to the diameter of the journal, the placement of the shaft and the load per unit area. For bearings with high speed and large journal diameter, the oil viscosity can be lower, and for bearings with low speed and small journal diameter, the oil viscosity can be higher.
(3) Gear transmission. Since the actual contact stress between gears is often very high, the meshing time of each point on the tooth surface is relatively short, and sliding and rolling occur at the same time during meshing, so the effect of forming a liquid oil film is very weak, and the lubrication of the gears is mainly realized by the boundary oil film. The higher the gear load, the higher the viscosity of the selected oil; the higher the speed, the lower the viscosity of the selected oil; the higher the working environment temperature should be, the higher the viscosity of the selected oil should be. Under normal circumstances, the mechanical oil of L-AN46 viscosity can meet the lubrication requirements.
